Alex C. Fergusson ("AFCO"), located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1855 and is one of the largest domestic producers of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals used by food and beverage processing companies. The company's products include a broad range of hand washing and sanitizing soaps, acid and alkaline cleaners and water treatment chemicals. AFCO sells to customers throughout North America and the Caribbean.

AFCO continues to develop new products to support the growing needs of its customers as they strive to meet government standards and produce safe products.
